Executive Administrator

Lawrence & Schiller is seeking a seasoned, resourceful, and highly organized Executive Administrator to join our team. Located in Sioux Falls, SD, L&S is the leading advertising and marketing agency in the upper Midwest, providing market intelligence, creative innovation, and impactful results for regional and national clients.

This role goes beyond traditional office management—it combines operational oversight, executive support, and leadership in shaping the client and team experience. The successful candidate will bring 5–7 years of progressive experience in office management, executive assistance, or operations leadership, and will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced agency environment.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Executive Administrator is responsible for overseeing day-to-day office operations, ensuring an exceptional client and visitor experience, and providing high-level executive support to the CEO and senior leadership team. This individual will act as a strategic partner in managing executive priorities, streamlining processes, and enhancing organizational effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the first point of contact, ensuring a professional and welcoming experience for clients, partners, and vendors, both in-person and via phone.
  • Provide high-level executive assistance to the CEO and senior leadership team, including calendar management, travel coordination, expense reporting, and preparation for key meetings.
  • Oversee office operations, including supply chain management, conference room scheduling, office equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Manage and plan agency-wide events, leadership meetings, and client hospitality initiatives.
  • Handle financial and administrative tasks, such as daily deposits, and agency mail processing.
  • Anticipate executive and organizational needs, ensuring seamless support and proactive problem-solving.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in office management, executive assistance, or business operations, ideally in a fast-paced professional services or agency environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership, managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a client-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to adapt quickly, think critically, and proactively identify improvements.
  • Proficiency in office technology and collaboration tools.
