Social Media Content Specialist
L&S is looking for a skilled, self-motivated Social Media Content Specialist to help us strategize, create and manage social content for clients. In this role, you’ll help L&S clients tell stories and grow engagement across social platforms, owning the ideation and creation of social content, as well as social media management, monitoring and optimizing. This role is part strategist, part creator — someone who can see the big picture, spot trends before they peak, and roll up their sleeves to write copy, capture content, and performance report. This position will also lead day-to-day coordination for L&S Studio, our proprietary content creator network, helping manage campaigns that include user-generated content.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Lead social media strategy for a portfolio of clients, including Lawrence & Schiller’s social accounts, aligning content with each client’s goals and audiences.
- Identify cultural and platform trends and translate them into relevant content opportunities.
- Write copy and hashtags that reflect each client’s unique voice while optimizing for engagement and discoverability.
- Shoot and edit social-first video and photo content, from quick-turn reels and stories to carousels.
- Work with agency creative teams to develop ideas and seamlessly integrate social strategies and content into overall campaign plans
- Manage publishing and scheduling of posts across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Engage with audiences by monitoring comments, DMs, mentions, and UGC — building community in real time.
- Analyze and report on performance using platform insights and reporting tools, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

- Collaborate with internal teams (creative, digital, account, media, insights) to align social media with broader campaigns and initiatives.
- Guide best practices across clients, educating both colleagues and clients on trends, tools, and platform updates.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- 3–5 years of experience in social media marketing, ideally in an agency or multi-brand environment.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt voice across brands and write for short-form, social media storytelling
- Can produce, direct, shoot and edit social-first content that’s optimized for social
- Proficient in shooting photos and video on both phone and camera equipment
- Proficiency with editing tools for both phone and desktop, including Adobe Premier, CapCut and native apps.
- Proven track record of building and executing social strategies that drive measurable results.
- Proficiency with social publishing and reporting tools.
- Comfortable balancing strategy with day-to-day execution.
- Naturally curious and plugged into culture, trends, and platform updates.
- Strong organizational skills — able to self-manage multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities.
- Agility to pivot quickly for real-time moments and adapt content across multiple platforms.
- Self-Starter Mentality: social moves fast — we don’t want someone who waits for marching orders but can identify a new idea
- Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with creative, media, and account teams.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus.
- Must provide a portfolio of video, photography and social media creative.
