Marketing Analytics Specialist
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Marketing Analytics Specialist who is passionate about using data to make better marketing decisions. This role sits at the intersection of research, consumer insights, media, digital marketing, and client strategy, helping teams understand what is driving campaign performance and where opportunities exist to improve it.
Rather than simply reporting on marketing metrics, you'll uncover the "why" behind campaign performance and translate complex information into clear recommendations that influence future strategy. You'll work closely with our Research, Insights, Media, Digital, and Account teams to evaluate campaign effectiveness, identify optimization opportunities, and help clients better understand the impact of their marketing investments.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both marketing strategy and analytics—someone who loves asking questions, connecting data points, and telling the story behind the numbers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Marketing Performance & Campaign Insights
- Analyze campaign performance across paid media, digital marketing, consumer research and client business data.
- Identify what's working, what isn't, and why.
- Evaluate campaign performance against business goals, not just marketing KPIs.
- Develop actionable recommendations to improve future marketing efforts.
- Help answer the question every client asks: "Did our marketing work?"
2. Marketing Strategy Support
- Partner with Media, Digital, Research and Consumer Insights teams throughout campaign planning and measurement.
- Validate whether strategies were supported by campaign results.
- Identify trends in audience behavior and customer engagement.
- Recommend testing opportunities, optimizations, and future marketing strategies.
3. Measurement & Reporting
- Build dashboards and reports that tell a clear performance story.
- Translate marketing metrics into business outcomes clients can understand.
- Ensure campaigns are measured consistently across channels.
- Identify opportunities to improve tracking and reporting.
- Help establish KPIs that align with campaign objectives.
4. Client Communication & Storytelling
- Turn complex marketing data into clear, actionable insights.
- Present campaign findings to internal teams and clients.
- Explain marketing performance in a way that's easy to understand.
- Support executive presentations and campaign recaps.
- Help clients make smarter marketing decisions through data.
5. Marketing Analytics & Optimization
- Analyze customer segments, audience behavior, and campaign trends.
- Support attribution and measurement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve campaign efficiency and budget allocation.
- Evaluate marketing tools and reporting capabilities.
- Stay current on changes in digital marketing measurement, analytics, and consumer behavior.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing, media strategy, consumer insights, or campaign performance analysis.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and how marketing campaigns are planned, executed, and measured.
- Experience analyzing campaign performance and translating findings into marketing recommendations.
- Ability to communicate insights in a clear, engaging, client-friendly way.
- Comfortable working with marketing data from multiple platforms (GA4, GCM, Meta, CRM, research, etc.).
- Experience with reporting tools.
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with SQL is helpful but not required.
- Curiosity and a passion for solving marketing problems through data.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A collaborative mindset and desire to work across multiple marketing disciplines.
