L&S Earns 3 District 8 American Advertising Awards

After a successful night at our local American Advertising Awards, some of our work went on to compete at the regional District 8 American Advertising Awards. District 8 is one of 14 districts in the American Advertising Federation and is made up of incredibly talented people throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
We’re excited to say that we earned three Silver District 8 awards this year. We couldn’t be more thankful to our clients and the AAF. Check out the work below!

“What’s the recipe for the ultimate road-trip direct mail piece? One half activity book, one half informative guide. With our family-focused mailer we wanted to create a piece that would be the perfect companion for a memorable trek across South Dakota. To make this possible, we created a piece that gave kids activities to complete in the car that would both entertain and educate them on our unique South Dakota attractions. Interspersed with those activities were informative pages for parents highlighting destinations, dining, and lodging throughout the state to help them plan their own memorable South Dakota vacation.” – Dan Dismounts, Art Director

Parents Magazine Sticker Book

“Who loves stickers? That’s right, everyone. In our Parents Magazine placement we took this finely honed insight to the next level and created a high-impact unit that provided the opportunity for kids to interact with our South Dakota attractions. Each panel of our gatefold contained stickers that could be placed within the main body of the piece to create a unique image of a South Dakota vacation.” – Dan Dismounts, Art Director
